JusDrive is committed to making sure our customers are well-informed and confident about their decision making. We have laid out a list of questions that are commonly asked by our clients. However, if there is something that we have missed please feel free to reach out. We’re more than happy to address any of your needs.
Q: What is the minimum age?
-
The minimum age for most of our cars is 25.

Q: How long must I have held my license to hire from you?
-
The hirer must have held their license for a minimum of 2 years.
​
Q: What is the minimum hire period?
-
24 hours for Cars Mon-Fri.
-
4 hours for Vans: Monday to Thursday between 8am – 12pm and 1pm – 5pm
-
Please note any vehicles hired on a Saturday would need to be returned on a Monday as we are closed on Sundays, so you'll be charged until then)

Q: How do I pay?
-
You can pay via card/bank transfer. - Must be paid from hirers card/account.

Q: What do I need to bring?
-
Physical driving license (No photo's/expired photocards will be accepted)

Bank statement or utility bill dated within the last 60 days.

Q: What if I have points on my license?
-
We can accept up to 6 points on your license. However, certain convictions such as IN10s cannot be accepted, which mean you may not be able to hire from us.

We recommend you call us before visiting if you have any major convictions.
​
Q: Who cannot hire from us?
-
The following are exclusions of our policy:
1. Persons who have been disqualified from driving during the last 36 months and/or who have more than 6 points on their driving license and/or any of the following offence codes:
a. UT
b. DR or DG
c. DD
d. BA
e. IN
f. AC
g. CD
h. LC30-50
i. MS50-90
j. MR
k. TT​
​​2. Persons who have had their insurance declined and/or renewal refused and/or insurance or cover cancelled by any motor insurer
3. Persons engaged in any of the following occupations:
a. Professional sportsman or sportswoman
b. The entertainment or theatrical profession
c. Racing or gambling
d. Foreign Armed forces or Foreign Embassy
4. Persons who have been involved in more than one fault incident within the last 3 years
5. Persons with a current criminal conviction which is not spent under the Rehabilitation of Offenders
Act 1974
6. Carriage of passengers or goods for hire and reward including ride-hailing &/or food delivery within
the GIG economy &/or any carriage of goods or persons for any form of profit or remuneration
7. Driving by any person other than the hirer who has completed a rental agreement or lease
agreement for the period of cover concerned, unless off-hire has been agreed and is included in your
schedule.
8. Driving by any person who is not a British or EU licence holder

Q: Is there a mileage restriction?
-
There is a mileage restriction of 125 miles per day/875 per week & 2000 per 28 days, this may vary for some cars.

Excess miles are charged at £2.50.

Q: What happens if I have an accident?
-
If you are involved in an accident whether it is your fault or not, please let us know immediately. Please capture any photo's/footage at the scene and make sure you get all relevant information from the third party. If there happen to be any witnesses around then try and get their information too.

Q: What is delivery mileage?
-
If you would like the car delivered to a specific location, it will be added to your rental.

Q: I've had an accident can I still hire from you?
-
As long as it was not in the last 3 years.
​
Q: What are the terms regarding service, maintenance, and MOT's
-
All are free and included in the service.
​
Q: What is your admin fee for PCN's/Traffic violations?
-
Our admin fee is £50+ vat.
​
Q: Do you offer fully comprehensive insurance?
-
Yes, absolutely! We provide fully comprehensive Self-drive insurance. JusDrive would also like to state that you must meet the insurance requirements. If you do not meet the insurance requirements, we refuse to hire you ANY of our vehicles.

Q: Are breakdowns covered?
-
Yes, you are covered for the possibility of a breakdown.
​
Q: What deposit do you require?
-
The deposit is significantly dependent on the vehicle. As the range varies so much, please seek advice before enquiring for a vehicle. Discretion is advised.​
